This page explains what personal data makion.dev collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it. Makion is built on the principle that your data stays under your control — that applies to this website too.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect, and when

We only collect personal data that you deliberately send us. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking on this site.

Contact / enquiry form — when you submit the form, we receive the name, work email, company, SAP release, and any message you enter, together with your consent flag and a timestamp.
Technical anti-spam data — on submission we briefly process your IP address and basic request timing to reject automated spam. It is not used to profile you.
Email — if you write to [email protected] directly, we process the contents of that email to reply.

3. Why we process it (legal basis)

To respond to your enquiry — legal basis: your consent (given by ticking the box) and our legitimate interest in answering prospective customers (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
To keep the site secure (anti-spam) — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Submitting the form only queues your message for a human to read. We do not send you automated marketing, and nothing you submit triggers an automatic reply pretending to be a person.

4. Cookies & tracking

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics. Any strictly necessary storage (if introduced later) will be limited to what is required to operate the site.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. Your enquiry is handled by the operator. Standard infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, the CDN in front of this site) process data only as needed to run the service, as processors.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and is deleted when it is no longer needed or on your request (subject to any legal retention duties).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time.
